LOOKING FOR THE CHAMPION OF TOWER FRANTIŠEK! WILL IT BE YOU?
The municipality of Horní Suchá invites you to a sporting challenge: Run for the Tower Champion František.
The route takes you from the Municipal Office straight into the depths of our concrete giant. The finish line is on the 9th floor of the mining tower František, reached by 385 steps!
Whether you want to race against the clock or climb to the top at your own pace, this event is for everyone. At the start, you’ll choose your own category — running or walking.
When: Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM

3. START AND FINISH
- Adult Run & Walk: The start of the adult run and the walk (intended for both adults and children) is at 10:00 AM near the Horní Suchá Municipal Office, Sportovní 227.
- Finish: 9th floor of the František Tower.
- Children’s Races: Start at 10:40 AM below the František Tower.
- Age limit: 0–14.99 years old.
- Finish: 9th floor of the František Tower after conquering 385 stairs.
4. COURSE
The run and walk route is 1.8 km long + 385 stairs to the 9th floor of the František Tower.

5. REGISTRATION
Registration is mandatory via:

Registration deadline is at least 30 minutes before the start of the race.
6. ENTRY FEE
Free of charge.
7. ORGANIZATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
Participants must follow the organizers’ instructions and respect safety rules on the track and inside the František Tower.
Every participant enters the race at their own risk. Legal guardians are responsible for minor participants.
8. FINAL PROVISIONS
The organizer reserves the right to modify the propositions in case of unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be informed of any changes in due time.
