Irish music with a touch of the Beskydy Mountains…

David Vysloužil and his band Acoustic Irish play and sing about their roots, human joy, humility, pride, and desire. In their music, he draws inspiration from the folklore and atmosphere of his native Moravian-Silesian Region, especially from the Beskydy hills that are so dear to him. With a bit of exaggeration, one could say the band plays Irish Celtic music with a touch of the Beskydy Mountains. Blending elements of folk, Irish, and folklore, they forge their own path on their “musical journey.” Perhaps that is why every live performance of theirs is somewhat original—sometimes leaning more towards folk, other times more towards Irish. A testament to all of this is their album titled Skorokruh, recorded at Czech Radio Ostrava in 2017 and released in distribution with the INDIES music label.
